Location: Hesperia, CA
This will be a family event combined with SCNA, San Diego's Camping Bares and Naturists in the OC. All naturists are welcome. This is a clothing optional event, in the evenings it is often too cool to be nude.
We will reserve and setup our camp site Friday evening at the Deep Creek Campground, East Side (not Juniper Flats West Side) as camping at the Hot Springs themselves is not permitted by San Bernardino National Forest regulations. For those arriving Saturday we suggest hiking out around 5:00 p.m. to give you time to set up your tent.
Tent or small trailers or RVs are OK, however RVs may need to park further away and walk down to our site for the campfire. There is one pit toilet in the center of the dirt parking area. The shower and water a five minute walk from the campsites and may or may not work so don't count on them. Make sure to bring all you need for dry camping.
The Deep Creek Hot Springs Campground charges $15 per person on the East Side for overnight stays and $10 for day use only. Our East Side campground will be clothing optional, nude preferred weather allowing. Nudity is fine at the camping spots and on the trail down to the hot springs. This is a clothing optional event! You may pay online in advance a few days before the event at this website.

You may also pay via Zelle and then text screenshot of payment and your vehicles license plate to 760-261-1054.
If you do not wish to camp but would like to join the group for the Saturday or Sunday hike feel free to do so. In this case you may want to pay $10 and park close to our campsite or park at the original Bowen Ranch that charges only $5 per person for day use. If your enter through the original Bowen Ranch cabin entrance, you can see our campsite across the fence with razor wire on your right just before getting to the lower parking lot. We can then meet at the bottom end of the fence to hike down together.
The hike down to the trail is moderate if you are in fair shape. It is 1.9 miles long with a 970 foot drop in elevation. That means up hill on the way back! There are only a couple of steeper sections (no rock climbing) and one area that is washed out and now there is a narrow ledge trail over the top of it. It is not handicapped accessible!
Feel free to visit http://www.DeepCreekVolunteers.com for photos of the trail and detailed directions to the Bowen Ranch.
